Using the Manifest Generator

you can upload your local stream to make manifest by using Manifest Generator

Statement

  • There are two versions of online manifest generator
  • Manifest Generator is a single core 8G server
  • High-performance Version is a server with 4 core 16G, But it's not always on. If you can't access it through the URL, visit Manifest Generator first and then click "High-performance Version" in the menu bar to access it.
  • High-performance Version is recommended, if you need to handle more streams or transcode videos.

    • Procedure

  • Click to start. Each click can upload an mp4 file, up to 5 clicks.
  • Click to choose upload a local mp4 stream or use a server stream.
  • Click "Uplod Local Stream" to upload a local mp4 stream, and the file size cannot exceed 200M.
  • Click "Select Server Stream" to select a server mp4 stream
  • If the uploaded file we support transcoding and generating manifest files, will be displayed.
  • If the uploaded file we support, then the file will be uploaded to the server, will change to which means the file is being uploaded and then will change to which means that the mp4 file has been uploaded.
  • If the uploaded file we only support generating manifest files, and "does not support transcode this stream" will be displayed.
  • If the uploaded file we do not support generating manifest files, and "does not support this stream, please upload another one" will be displayed.
  • If the uploaded file we support transcoding and generating manifest files, click "Transcode Config" to select transcode config, and click to add the transcode config. You can add up to 5 transcoding formats.
  • Click to fold the box.
  • Click to expand the box.
  • Click to generating manifest files.
  • Click to reset all the configurations.
  • Click "Run" and then click "OK" and you'll see the process in "Progress". After running, you'll see the manifest files in "Result".
  • If you only upload audio files, no hls file will be generated.
  • On the result page, if you want to see the previous configuration, you can click and .
  • Click to view the manifest example without uploading any files.

  • Due to server performance, only one user can run the server simultaneously, while others are put on hold. If the waiting time becomes excessively long, users may need to refresh the page.
